To our future Advance College Project students,
You are our focus. We want to bring you the same Indiana University courses offered on our campuses but taught by your own teachers in your school. With their support and feedback, you will gain the same skills as you would if you were attending classes on campus. You will receive IU credits based on the achievements that you make throughout the course, and not because you did or didn’t get a high enough score on an AP exam. Since it is the same course that undergraduates take, you gain confidence knowing that you can be successful with the rigor of the next level.
In addition to sharpening time management skills and gaining knowledge in foundational and interesting university-level courses, as an IU ACP student you will be able to access customized career-building and financial tools. We offer courses that prepare you for further studies and provide the advising needed to make the transition from high school classroom to the campus setting as seamless as possible.
When you go to our Courses page, you will find our complete catalog of IU ACP offerings and specific details. Check with your high school counselor to see which courses are available at your school. We train new ACP instructors every summer and schools are adding more ACP courses all the time. After you see a course that you like, go to our Students page to find out how to register and how the credits transfer to universities and colleges.
We are here to strengthen the progression towards your post-secondary goals as you build your transcript and gain the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
Wishing you much success,
Troy Byler
Director, Advance College Project (ACP)
